Another gorgeous senior!
Posted on August 27, 2009
Last week I had another amazing senior portrait session! Emily and her mom picked out a gorgeous location along our local river. There were rocks, moss, ferns, a creek, some flowers and even a riverside swing!!! It was an absolutely perfect location with some perfect light. Other than dealing with a few bugs, it was a perfect session!!
And the photos? Well, see for yourself!!
Thank you so much for this opportunity! I hope you enjoy your portraits and have an absolutely wonderful senior year!!!

You may have noticed that my domain name – www.irenesmithphotography.com doesn’t take you directly to my blog any longer. That domain now directs you to my new website! My new site is a bit more easy to navigate, offers galleries and lots of other details. I also added a feature which will allow clients to review, share and order their photos online!
I will continue to be updating this blog with lots of photos from my latest sessions, as well as any news or other information. You can access this blog in one of two ways. You can either access it by the “blog” link found on the homepage of my new website, or you can access it directly via this blog’s new domain: www.irenephotographyblog.com!
Thanks for visiting!!!
Amazing senior shoot!

Rachel was one of one of my easiest sessions ever. She and her family were so nice and welcoming. And she lives on a beautiful farm with an almost endless supply of perfect backdrops! I could have taken photos there all day!
Our first photos were taken in this huge tree in her backyard. It is the perfect climbing tree and Rachel happily climbed on up for some shots!
We then ventured into the fields behind her home. The light and the colors were just gorgeous!
Rachel’s next request was some photos with her extremely cool, bright yellow Jeep. Wow. I think she could sell a few Jeeps with this photo!
Our next location was the big red barn. We started off with some photos with her sisters. I absolutely love this shot!!
And then a few shots with just Rachel. What a perfect backdrop!!!
We finished our “on the farm” session with a few more shots including some headshots for a possible “official yearbook photo”.
We then traveled into town to get a few more urban shots. We found a cool railroad bridge and got a few more beautiful shots.
Thank you all so much for this opportunity!!!

Absolute Sweetness

Meet 10 day old baby Chase!
I had the absolute best time photographing this little angel! He was so easy and – other than a couple little accidents, a second or two of fussiness, he was absolutely perfect – adorable, sleepy, cuddly and extremely easy going. Of course, he comes from an extremely nice family so I wouldn’t expect anything less!
But enough chatter – on to the photos!!!!
And then, of course, we definitely needed to get mom into just a few pictures as well!
And dad too! This is one of my favorites, I love the look on both of their faces and I swear there is a little smile on that munchkin’s face! And those toes – SWEET!!!
The whole family!
Thank you all SO much!
